My Top 5 Keto Kitchen Gadgets and Tools

Do y’all love kitchen gadgets as much as I do? I could spend hours and hours in a home store just looking at kitchen tools and gadgets. Since going Keto, I quickly discovered that I could make my Keto cooking so much easier with a few new gadgets.  From speeding up meal preparation to easy cleanup to food storage, my “Keto” kitchen gadgets can do it all.

Salad Shooter

I think my favorite Keto kitchen gadget is my Presto Salad Shooter because my most hated kitchen task is shredding/grating cheese. Pre-shredded/grated cheese in a bag is a big Keto No-No because starch is used to keep the cheese from clumping together.  With my Salad Shooter, I can shred a 2 pound block of cheese in about 3 minutes. I keep several kinds of shredded cheese in my refrigerator at all times so I can pull it out whenever I need it.  Making Fathead Sausage Pizza is a snap when all I have to do is measure out the mozzarella cheese that I have shredded earlier.  The Salad Shooter also has a slicing attachment that can be used to slice cheese or vegetables. The shredding attachment works well for shredding vegetables, too.  The Salad Shooter is easy to assemble.  It can be placed in the top rack of the dishwasher for easy cleanup.

Silicone Baking Mats

Silicone baking mats are a must when cooking with Fathead Dough.  Fathead Dough is so versatile.  I use it for pizza crust, garlic bread, crackers and there are many other recipes that start with Fathead Dough.  I use this Silicone Baking Mat Set and the Fathead Sausage Pizza doesn’t stick and slides right off the mat.  Silicone baking mats have to be hand washed and dried, but since nothing sticks to it cleanup is quick and easy.

Coffee Frother

I love my Bulletproof Coffee in the mornings. I’ve read posts where people say they don’t like BPC because the added fats (Kerrygold butter and MCT oil) don’t mix in well and float on the top. There are also posts about attempting to blend their hot BPC in a blender that results in the blender top flying off because of the heat.  I have the just the Keto kitchen gadget to make perfectly blended and frothy Bulletproof Coffee.  This battery operated Bean Envy Electric Milk Frother is all it takes. It comes with a stand for ease of storage.  Cleanup is just a quick swirl in warm soapy water and a rinse.

Baby Food Containers with Lids

Keeping with the Bulletproof Coffee theme, I prepare my BPC pods for the week and store them in the refrigerator. These Baby Food Storage Containers (4 oz) are the perfect size for storing my BPC pods.  In the mornings, I pull out a BPC pod and microwave about 30 seconds to soften it up and pour into my insulated cup with a little coffee and froth it up.  I then pour in the remainder of my coffee and enjoy.

Dessert Decorator Plus

My favorite fat bombs are Peanut Butter Cheesecake Fat Bombs. They are so easy to mix up but without the Wilton Dessert Decorator Plus it can be difficult getting them into the mini-muffin cups.  When I first started making these, I spooned the mixture into the mini-muffin cups – they were good, but not very pretty.  I tried putting the mixture in a ziplock bag and piping it into the mini-muffin cups.  This didn’t turn out much better.  Then I saw what the Dessert Decorator Plus could do.  I fill the tube and use the star tip to pipe the mixture into the mini-muffin cups.  It makes the process so fast and easy to do – not to mention that it makes much less mess plus the fat bombs are pretty!

I love all these gadgets and how much easier and less messy my Keto cooking is.  Do you have any of these gadgets?  What are your favorite kitchen gadgets?
